A flood watch is in effect until 1 a.m. Sunday in southern and southeastern Ohio, according to the National Weather Service.

On Sunday, there is a 50% chance of showers, mainly before 4 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy, with temperatures falling to around 38 by 5 p.m. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. The low Sunday night will be around 23.

In Greater Columbus, expect rain on New Year’s Day with a high near 58. The chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts could be between a half and three-quarters of an inch.
