HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The National Weather Service has canceled the flood watch for Kauai County and Oahu.
While scattered showers are still possible, the threat of heavy rain and thunderstorms has diminished.
Earlier on Sunday, a strong thunderstorm moved over Oahu, bringing gusty winds and flooding rains.
A moist, unstable system brought heavy showers to parts of the state through the weekend. Forecasters say the state will likely see things drying out Monday.
